Responsibilities

• Prepare documents and shipping orders. Pack, seal, and label materials for shipping using cost-effective methods.
• Examine contents and compare with records to verify outgoing shipments.
• Record shipment data such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages for reporting and record-keeping.
• Contact carrier representatives to arrange shipping and delivery details.
• Requisition and store shipping materials to maintain stock inventory.
• Collaborate with customers, subcontractors, engineers, designers, project managers, sales, and shipping teams to support on-time projects.
• Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems with minimal precedent.
