Job summary

Estes Forwarding Worldwide seeks a Manager, Warehousing Operations to lead the Joliet location, directing daily duties, safety, and profitability. You will oversee site operations, guard service levels, and align with the regional network.

The role requires strong leadership, P&L experience, and hands-on ability to improve processes, while ensuring compliance with C-TPAT/TSA and company policies. A Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years in transport with supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 5–7 years of experience.
• 5–7 years’ experience in the transportation industry preferred.
• 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintain profitable, cost-efficient operations and guide sales efforts.
• Lead, direct, and manage site operations for profitability and customer service.
• Assist with moving freight, stock, or materials as needed.
• Manage location resources to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Establish and maintain productive customer relations and resolve issues.
• Review location P&L and adjust goals to maintain profitability.
• Ensure safe and timely freight expediting and a safe warehouse environment.
• Comply with C-TPAT and TSA procedures.
