Job summary

Estes Forwarding Worldwide is seeking a Supervisor, Warehouse Operations to oversee daily warehouse activities in Joliet, IL. You will lead a team, ensure efficient order processing, and Coordinate with customers and carriers to maintain high service levels.

The role requires 2-5 years in warehousing, a Bachelor's degree, and strong leadership. You will manage KPIs, uphold security procedures, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 2-5 years in transportation or warehousing with supervisory exposure.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations for an assigned team.
• Lead, direct, and manage operations to ensure service, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
• Coordinate with customers and carriers for deliveries and shipments.
• Interact with warehouse team to ensure accurate order processing.
• Utilize Warehouse Management System to complete receipts, shipments, and transfers.
• Conduct cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Drive continuous improvement with site managers.
• Facilitate team meetings and update priorities.
• Direct traffic and adjust orders to optimize flow.
• Maintain profitability while ensuring top customer service.
• Develop onboarding procedures for new customer accounts.
• Create and maintain KPIs and communicate across internal groups.
• Ensure compliance with C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
