Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct all warehouse operations including shipping and receiving, and to ensure accurate, timely product flow. You will lead staff, coordinate with transportation, monitor stock levels, and maintain equipment and safety programs to support a high-functioning distribution center.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of warehouse and supervisory experience, with knowledge of all warehouse processes and OSHA forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.
• 4-6 years warehouse and team lead or supervisory experience including in-depth knowledge of all warehouse phases.

Responsibilities

• Supervises associates to include staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
• Coordinates with Transportation Manager to ensure efficiency and timely product movement within the warehouse.
• Reviews stock status reports and coordinates with inventory staff to ensure accurate counts and meet customer needs.
• Coordinates with inventory staff to return obsolete product to vendors or sell to other distributors.
• Ensures building and equipment are maintained through supervising maintenance and repair activities.
• Notifies customers of stock shortages and communicates information to relevant staff.
• Maintains knowledge of SOPs and ensures staff compliance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
