Role Overview:
The Warehouse Manager oversees warehouse operations, managing Supervisors and their teams to ensure efficient storage, inventory management, and distribution of pharmaceuticals and hazardous materials. The role emphasizes compliance with safety, regulatory, and company policies, including handling controlled substances and working in RF-enabled environments.
- Manage warehouse personnel, track attendance, coach staff, and support employee growth and performance.
- Coordinate activities to optimize facility utilization and maintain process, productivity, and quality standards.
- Analyze key performance metrics, identify improvement areas, and respond to operational issues with solutions.
- Enforce safety and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to policies and government regulations.
- Develop and implement process improvements for efficiency, accuracy, and cost reduction.
- Assist in budget preparation and manage department resources within financial targets.
- Maintain facility cleanliness and perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of related, progressively responsible experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role. Must possess strong leadership, communication, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of warehouse systems, safety, and regulatory compliance is essential, along with organizational and analytical abilities.
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to work extended hours, participate in physical inventories, and support a production-driven environment. Effective in Microsoft Office, capable of fostering teamwork, and maintaining positive relationships within the team.
