Job summary

Triup, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operations & Customer Service Lead to manage daily warehouse activities, process sales orders, supervise staff, and ensure timely, accurate service.

The role covers receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and SOP implementation while coordinating closely with Customer Service and senior management. The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory experience, fluent English and Japanese, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Japanese and English required; Spanish language skills are a plus.
• High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of higher education and experience.
• Supervisory or management experience in warehouse operations, including staff supervision and training.
• Ability to manage daily warehouse operations and handle customer inquiries and operational issues.
• Ability to operate general office equipment, including phones, fax machines, copiers, computers, printers, and scanners.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily shipping arrangements and ensures shipments are processed accurately and on time.
• Establishes storage layouts and manages space requirements.
• Develops, updates, and implements standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinates with the Customer Service Department to facilitate efficient and smooth warehouse operations.
• Handles customer inquiries, order status updates, and shipping-related issues to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Manages daily manpower allocation and supervises and trains employees and temporary employees.
• Evaluates staffing needs and coordinates with senior management to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Prepares and sends invoices to customers, monitors payment status, and follows up on overdue payments.
• Analyzes, monitors, and improves warehouse operations to meet departmental productivity and quality goals.
• Oversees inventory counts, shipping, and receiving, and provides hands-on support as needed.
• Ensures all shipment-related documents are filed accurately and promptly.
• Manages inventory and ensures accurate inventory records.
