Job summary

Balchem Corporation in Defiance, OH, seeks a driven Warehouse Supervisor to lead warehouse operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive efficiency. You will manage labeling, picking, shipping, and driver coordination while maintaining inventory accuracy and SOP adherence.

The role requires a four-year degree (preferred), Hazmat certification, and strong Excel/ERP skills. CDL is a plus as the team supports production and distribution across locations.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse leadership experience in a high-mix operation.
• Hazmat certification for hazardous material shipments.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g. D365).
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Attention to detail and strong multi-tasking.
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse staff including administration, pre-weigh, shipping, receiving, and drivers.
• Oversee order fulfillment, labeling, storage, picking, and transport.
• Ensure 100% inventory accuracy and data integrity in ERP.
• Maintain Balchem Quality systems and SOPs for warehouse operations.
• Support cost savings and efficiency projects.
• Ensure mobile equipment is compliant and maintained.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, FDA, DOT).
