Job summary

Kuehne Nagel is seeking a senior leader for Contract Logistics to design, manage, and optimize solutions ensuring efficient goods flow. You’ll lead planning, staffing, safety, and performance, drawing on WMS and MHE expertise to keep operations running smoothly.

You will drive onboarding, training, continuous improvement, and stakeholder collaboration while overseeing cost-saving initiatives and KPI reporting to customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5 years of warehousing experience.
• 3 years of leadership experience in a distribution environment.
• 1 year leading Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of production and quality systems.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Blue Yonder or other WMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver onboarding and ongoing training to support employee success.
• Support leadership and HR in advancing DEI initiatives.
• Supervise associates, manage schedules, and maintain attendance records.
• Ensure QSHE compliance and awareness.
• Prepare reports and participate in weekly/monthly business reviews; identify process improvements and implement action plans.
• Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives; track results.
• Lead or participate in BRMs and MBRs; develop and present KPIs to customers and stakeholders.
• Partner with customers to achieve shared objectives.
• Perform complex tasks requiring judgment, problem-solving, and analysis.
• Lead employee engagement events.
