Job summary

Magnolia in Waco, TX is seeking an Operations Manager to lead warehouse staff, improve processes, and ensure safety and guest satisfaction. You will manage planning, training, scheduling, and performance, while driving cost-effective decisions and KPI accountability across all warehousing functions.

The role reports to the General Manager of Warehousing and involves collaborating with stakeholders, maintaining OSHA standards, and designing efficient layout and product flow to meet delivery

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• 1-3 years of management experience and/or 5+ years of related work experience or a combination preferred
• Forklift Trainer certification preferred upon hire
• Must be available to work weekends, events, and holidays as business needs require

Responsibilities

• Achieve operational objectives by planning, collaborating with stakeholders, implementing productivity/quality initiatives, and audits
• Forecast operational requirements, develop KPIs for each work unit, and implement accountability tracking
• Manage staff: training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and performance feedback
• Oversee and manage delivery trucks and equipment, including maintenance and driver training
• Develop processes for receiving, inventory management, and shipping within delivery windows
• Design warehouse layout and optimize product flow and handling systems
• Control costs within labor, supplies, and equipment repairs
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to OSHA regulations
• Develop inventory handling and FIFO procedures; manage adjustments
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Mentor team leads in process improvement and leadership
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Metrics evaluated on Performance Review
