Job summary

illumynt is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee inbound Receiving, inventory control, outbound shipping, and warehouse operations. You will lead hourly staff, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, productivity, and quality goals are met.

Responsibilities include managing labor, optimizing processes, maintaining OSHA compliance, and reporting performance to leadership. Strong WMS/ERP knowledge and leadership skills are essential in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, logistics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of warehouse operations experience with leadership.
• Experience managing inbound and outbound distribution.
• Strong knowledge of WMS/ERP systems and MS Office.
• Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound receiving, unloading, put-away, replenishment, and inventory processes.
• Oversee outbound order fulfillment, picking, packing, staging, and shipping operations.
• Ensure on time and accurate shipment of customer orders.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs, including productivity, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, dock-to-stock time, and shipping performance.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse team members.
• Schedule labor based on business volume while controlling overtime and labor expenses.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and warehouse best practices.
• Conduct regular safety meetings, audits, and incident investigations.
• Manage warehouse equipment, facility maintenance, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
• Prepare operational reports and present performance metrics to senior management.
