Job summary

The Tides Commodity Trading Group Inc is seeking a Warehouse Manager to supervise and coordinate the activities of workers handling ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials in the warehouse.

You will manage the Warehouse and direct its staff, making recommendations to Management that carry weight, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery across operations.

Qualifications

• Experience planning layout of stockroom, warehouse and storage areas.
• Strong inventory management and coordination with Logistics/Production/Purchasing teams.
• Ability to advise on care, preservation and handling of stored items; manage equipment usage.
• Experience identifying non-usable or excess stock and recommending remedial actions.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout of stockroom, warehouse, and storage areas.
• Inventory management and communication with Logistics/Production/Purchasing teams.
• Advises on care and preservation of items; methods of handling, storing, and shipping stock.
• Studies records; recommends actions for non-usable, slow-moving, or excess stock.
• Schedules work for inventories and expedites workflow.
• Familiar with Warehouse Shipping/Receiving activities including forklift/dock operations.
