Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Odenton, MD to lead daily warehouse operations, plan and implement service delivery strategies, and drive improvements. You will supervise multiple shifts across two facilities, oversee budget and KPIs, and promote a safe, high-performing environment.

The role requires 4–6 years in warehousing/logistics with supervisory experience, and strong leadership and communication abilities. This is an on-site position.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job.
• 4-6 years of progressively responsible experience in warehousing and/or logistics operations, including a minimum of 2 years of experience supervising employees and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with internal and external partners.
• Ability to lead, motivate and mentor employees.
• Strong collaboration and organization in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of approximately 3 Supervisors, 19 drivers, 11 warehouse covering two facilities, EDT and ODM.
• Oversee and manage operational activities for warehouse location including budget, staffing, KPIs and record keeping.
• Resolve customer service issues and operational issues and implement process improvements to ensure effective and smooth-flowing operations of warehouse location.
• Work with upper management to coordinate and improve service.
• Promote safe work environment through adherence to OSHA and DOT regulations as well as Mohawk Safety polices and Standards. Conduct regular safety meetings.
• Oversee inventory control, adjustments and cycle count process.
• Ensure all employees are treated in a fair, equitable and consistent manner.
