Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a Warehouse Manager for our Odenton, MD location to lead daily operations of a 24-hour facility handling ~4 million pounds annually. You will supervise a team of supervisors, drivers, and warehouse staff, coordinating staffing, budgets, and KPIs to ensure reliable service.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4-6 years of progressively responsible warehousing/logistics experience, including at least 2 years supervising employees and implementing cost-saving measures.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of approximately 3 Supervisors, 19 drivers, 11 warehouse staff across two facilities (EDT and ODM); 24 hour operation delivering ~4 million pounds per year.
• Oversee and manage operational activities for the warehouse location including budget, staffing, KPIs and record keeping.
• Resolve customer service issues and operational issues and implement process improvements to ensure effective, smooth-flowing operations.
• Work with upper management to coordinate and improve service.
• Promote safe work environment through adherence to OSHA/DOT regulations and Mohawk safety policies and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Oversee inventory control, adjustments and cycle count process.
• Ensure all employees are treated fairly and consistently.
