Job summary

Uber Freight seeks an Associate Manager, Warehouse to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team of associates in a fast-paced environment. This role emphasizes professional communication with customers and carriers to foster strong relationships and drive productivity.

You will coach staff to meet department goals, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure safety standards across the facility. Strong Spanish and English communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assure that essential warehouse processes are executed accurately.
• Pro-actively identify and communicate issues, propose, and implement solutions for continuous improvement regarding processes, cost, service, and profitability.
• Conflict resolution and problem solving.
• Develop and distribute customer reports and internal performance management reports.
• Monitor and hold team accountable for all key job functions.
• Assure maintenance to the facility, develop, and manage external providers to maintain facility in good conditions and safe.
• Implementation and control of all safety and security conditions normed.
• Deliver cost savings / cost containment to customer and/or Uber Freight.
• Ensure appropriate use of internal high-service, fair and cost competitive services to achieve internal department goals.
