Job summary

Viking Group, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead the day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory, and material handling.

You will guide the warehouse team to achieve accuracy, safety, and efficiency while coordinating branch transportation and deliveries across our North American network. The role collaborates with Customer Service and Fabrication teams to ensure timely orders and high service levels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse or distribution experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with transportation logistics, drivers, or fleet operations is a plus.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and transportation compliance is helpful.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with warehouse systems, RF technology, or inventory systems.
• Intermediate computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and warehouse systems.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent operational experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, inventory management, and material handling.
• Supervise and develop warehouse employees, setting clear expectations and accountability.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
• Audit incoming and outgoing shipments for inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with Customer Service and Fabrication teams to support orders and delivery timelines.
• Manage freight, deliveries, and transportation logistics including internal drivers.
• Oversee dispatching, routing, and tracking of shipments.
• Hire, train, and supervise drivers and transportation staff; manage schedules and workload.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs to keep fleet reliable.
• Maintain warehouse organization, safety standards, and housekeeping.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot shipping/receiving issues and address root causes.
• Manage warehouse supplies, equipment, and small facility needs.
• Ensure SOPs are followed; drive 5S and continuous improvement efforts.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and overtime to meet demand.
