Job summary
US Foods is seeking a Manager, Warehouse to lead a safety‑first warehouse operation focusing on people, service, and cost. You will manage personnel, ensure safe receiving, storage, and timely loading of outbound products while driving efficient operations and adherence to food safety standards.
The role requires experience in warehouse leadership, coaching, and a strong grasp of regulatory requirements. Travel is involved with occasional meetings and training.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
- Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
- Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
- Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead with a safety mindset to maintain a safety‑first culture.
- Coach and develop warehouse associates and discuss performance with managers.
- Direct and supervise warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Hire and build teams, review performance and apply disciplinary actions as needed.
- Ensure accurate orders are staged and loaded for shipping.
- Monitor productivity and safety metrics and coach on improvements.
