Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead a safe, high-performing distribution team. You will drive accurate order fulfillment, coordinate inbound/outbound activities, and supervise hourly staff while ensuring compliance with food-safety and FIFO processes.

The role emphasizes coaching, performance management, and cost-control while maintaining a safety-first culture in a dynamic warehouse environment that includes cooler/freezer areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset that ensures that every US Foods associate remains injury free, always.
• Oversee and develop warehouse associates through coaching, training on policy and procedures, and performance discussions.
• Direct and supervise the work and productivity of associates within the warehouse department and drive engagement.
• Lead and direct associates to achieve accurate orders and ensure readiness for shipping or receiving on the next shift.
• Monitor operational information and coach to correct behaviors to meet rates and standards.
• Designate dock locations for inbound carriers and ensure proper stocking per FIFO and safety policies.
