US Foods in Phoenix is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team, drive safe and efficient shipping/receiving operations, and coach associates toward high performance.

You will collaborate with Sr. Warehouse Managers, focus on accuracy, inventory control, and cost-effective practices while upholding food-safety standards. The role requires HACCP familiarity and a minimum of three years in warehouse distribution with one year supervising staff.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
• Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to create a safety-first culture.
• Oversee and develop warehouse associates through coaching and training.
• Direct and supervise work and productivity in the warehouse department.
• Interview and hire warehouse personnel with Sr. Managers; review performance.
• Ensure accurate orders are staged and loaded on trucks; prep for shipping/receiving.
• Monitor performance data and coach to meet rates and standards.
• Schedule shifts and plan using tools like Excel.
