Job summary

Custom Goods, LLC in Fontana, CA is seeking an Operations Lead who will coordinate warehouse activities and supervise workers handling lifting, transporting, storing and loading materials using conveyors, forklifts, or by hand.

You will ensure safety, productivity, and quality standards, train staff, assign workflow, and collaborate with management to optimize operations while maintaining a secure, clean warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two years related experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work safely and uphold company policies.
• Reliable, with integrity and ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates and oversees warehouse personnel to ensure time is utilized efficiently to achieve production, quality, sanitation and customer service standards.
• Oversees daily forklift safety inspections, and reports deviations to supervisor/manager.
• Maintains equipment according to company standards.
• Coordinates flow of product with management and ensures safety precautions are followed.
• Enforces schedules and labor hours required for daily assignments.
• Trains employees and directs workflow; supports safety and housekeeping.
• Maintains security of the warehouse and a clean, safe work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
