Job summary

EmployBridge is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to lead daily warehouse operations, focusing on inventory control, sequencing, and staff scheduling in a fast-paced environment.

You will partner with leadership to drive safety, quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction, while supporting production requirements in Detroit.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of leadership in warehousing and a background in Lean, Six Sigma, and WMS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily warehouse operations including inventory control, sequencing, pick and pack activities, and material flow support.
• Support staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning to meet customer and operational needs.
• Monitor productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and safety metrics; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and hourly team members to drive engagement and operational excellence.
• Partner with customer representatives to maintain service levels and production support.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and safety standards.
• Analyze operational data and performance trends to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing operational reports, KPIs, and performance metrics for leadership.
• Support inventory accuracy initiatives and adherence to warehouse processes.
