Applied Industrial Technologies in Midland, MI is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse activities including receiving, shipping, assembly, and related processes. You will drive execution, coach staff, and ensure safe, accurate operations across departments.

The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, inventory control, and timely execution to meet customer requirements; supervision of 5–15 staff and coordination with Customer Service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2- or 4-year degree in Warehouse Management, Industrial Distribution, Inventory Control, Planning, or Logistics preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of warehouse experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of supervisory or management experience supervising a multi‑functional team.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse, receiving, distribution, technical assembly, and shipping operations.
• Maintain and improve operational processes through policies and procedures.
• Supervise and manage warehouse and assembly staff.
• Support production in pipe fabrication, hose assembly, valve automation, and shipping/receiving.
• Maintain high customer service levels by scheduling assembly operations to meet customer requirements.
• Coach and train warehouse and technical staff while ensuring accountability.
