iDesign is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead all warehouse operations—receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping—driving excellence with Lean principles, KPI management, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.

You will promote continuous improvement via 5S, visual management, standard work, and coaching of a team; optimize labor, layout and material flow; ensure OSHA compliance; and use WMS/ERP to monitor performance and reporting.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of warehouse or distribution leadership experience.
  • Proven success managing warehouse KPIs and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong understanding of Lean methodologies, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate execution of all inbound and outbound activities.
  • Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counting, process discipline, and root cause analysis.
  • Drive Lean initiatives including 5S, visual management, standard work, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and on-time delivery.
  • Develop and coach direct reports to achieve performance goals and maintain a culture of accountability
  • Optimize labor utilization, warehouse layout, and material flow to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
  • Utilize WMS and ERP systems to manage inventory, reporting, and operational performance.

Summary:

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and team development. This role drives operational excellence through Lean principles, KPI management, continuous improvement initiatives, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead daily warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate execution of all inbound and outbound activities.
