Job summary

PEI Genesis SB is seeking an experienced Shipping and Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse workflows, oversee receiving, inventory control, and shipping, and implement procedures for efficiency. You will champion servant leadership to empower and develop your team while driving operational excellence.

You will guide the department in 5S practices, maintain safety compliance, and participate in meetings to enhance performance. A strong focus on accuracy and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience acceptable.
• BS Degree in Business/Business Management preferred or equivalent years of experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Previous success in supervising a multi-functional staff.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with high accountability.
• Upbeat and energized to complete tasks with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and practice safety procedures; safety is a priority.
• Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and training in all department activities with clear expectations and feedback.
• Monitor warehouse flow and adjust manpower as needed.
• Investigate warehouse and shipping errors using root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
• Respond promptly to requests or issues with information or resolution.
• Help maintain accuracy and adherence to work instructions.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas applying 5S principles.
• Support and motivate staff to meet warehouse and shipping metrics.
• Review and disposition of non-conforming or unidentified material per standards.
