Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Supervisor, Warehouse at the Deer Park, TX site to lead daily inventory evaluation, replenishment, and accuracy. You will supervise five direct reports and eight indirect personnel, while ensuring compliance with Materials Inventory Policies and SAP MM workflows.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, and Reliability to optimize stock, reduce obsolete materials, and drive efficiency in kitting, staging, and procurement coordination.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in maintenance functions in petrochemical, refining, or similar industrial facility; or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in petrochemical, refining, or similar industrial facility
• Knowledge of Materials Inventory Industry Best Practices, Vendor Stocking, and Supply Chain Management
• Basic computer skills in applications such as Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP is required.
• Super User knowledge in the MM module of SAP is preferred.
• Must have excellent management /interaction skills to effectively manage the daily operations including customer relations.
• Experience required working with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day evaluation, replenishment, and accuracy of materials inventory.
• Leads a team of five direct-report employees and eight indirect personnel with oversight of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Assists in managing the warehouse cost centre, ensuring effective utilization of resources and cost control.
• Drives material strategy discussions and coordinates requirements with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and other plant disciplines.
• Identifies obsolete materials and opportunities for replacement or optimization.
• Oversees warehouse reliability improvements and partners with Reliability for OEM classifications.
• Ensures compliance with annual physical inventory requirements and Materials Inventory Policies.
• Supports Material Coordinators in securing tools, materials, and services for high-priority work activities.
• Coordinates with Procurement to track and expedite critical material requirements.
• Oversees SAP MM activity and acts as liaison to Corporate Materials Management.
