Job summary

Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee distribution operations, including shipping, put-away, cycle counting, picking, packing and returns.

This working supervisor role provides daily leadership to warehouse staff and supports second-shift operations to ensure continuity of service and adherence to safety policies.

Strong planning, supervisory and organizational skills are required to meet deadlines in a fast-paced steel distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Three years’ experience in a distribution environment (preferably steel distribution).

Responsibilities

• Assign warehouse personnel to appropriate work areas to meet deadlines.
• Direct production, shipping, cost, quality, and safety to meet goals.
• Review schedules, determine workforce requirements, and monitor productivity.
• Decide workflow throughout the day to meet daily objectives.
• Monitor operations, procedures and employees to ensure quality and productivity.
• Enforce all Triple-S Steel policies (Quality, Security, Safety, Health, Environmental, Attendance).
• Assist training of new employees in safety and job responsibilities.
• Enter incident reports.

Overview

In this key role, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing distribution operations, including shipping, put-away, cycle counting, picking, packing, and returns. This individual provides daily leadership and direction to warehouse personnel and is accountable for achieving key performance objectives related to productivity, quality, safety, and on-time customer shipments.

This is a working supervisor position that requires active involvement in warehouse operations as needed to support the team. While first shift may serve as the primary assignment, the role requires flexibility to provide leadership, oversight, and operational support across multiple shifts. The successful candidate must be available to support second-shift operations as needed to ensure appropriate supervision and continuity of operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure warehouse personnel are assigned to the appropriate work areas throughout the working day to meet deadlines for all processes.
• Directing production, shipping, cost, quality, and safety so that goals are met.
• Reviewing schedules, determining work force requirements, and monitoring productivity to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Make decisions regarding workflow throughout the day to ensure daily operational objectives are met.
• Monitor on an established basis, operations, procedures and employees to ensure quality, service and productivity objectives are met.
• Ensure all established Triple S Steel polices are enforced and followed by all employees. Such as, but not limited to: Quality Policy, Security, Safety, Health, Environmental, Attendance and all other policies.
• Assist with training new employees in safety, proper work assignments, and job responsibilities
• Entry of incident reports
• INVEX Support
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Three years’ experience in a distribution environment (preferably steel distribution)
