Job summary

RK Logistics Group is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities, manage staffing and scheduling, and drive safety, quality, and cost performance. The role involves coordinating with management to meet production schedules and deliver on KPIs.

Ideal candidates will have experience with ERP/MRP/WMS systems, hands-on supervision of hourly staff, and a strong focus on Lean and 6S initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in business administration or industrial management/engineering.
• 3-5 yrs. of experience in the logistics field or related industry.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of handheld RF equipment.
• Forklift certification a plus: sit-down & stand-up

Responsibilities

• Oversee 1 to 25 hourly associates and manage daily operations.
• Schedule and manage workers to meet production schedules and quotas.
• Monitor KPI's to assess productivity and cost management.
• Coordinate inventory transfers and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Lead by example to ensure safety, quality, and performance.
