Job summary

RK Logistics Group, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily activities of an operational unit, manage staffing and scheduling to hit targets, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures in our Newark, CA facility.

You will lead 1–25 hourly associates, drive lean improvements, monitor KPI's, and coordinate with other departments to resolve issues while maintaining safety and quality in every shift.

Qualifications

• 3-5 yrs of logistics or related field experience
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• Experience with ERP/MRP/WMS systems
• Forklift certification a plus
• Handheld RF equipment knowledge a plus
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee 1–25 hourly associates and manage staffing
• Schedule and manage workers to meet quotas
• Monitor KPI metrics and cost management
• Ensure safety and adherence to policies
• Coordinate with management and other departments to resolve issues
• Lead lean and 6S initiatives
• Maintain inventory through receiving, storing, delivering
