Job summary

RK Logistics Group is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities, staff scheduling, and adherence to SOPs. The role focuses on maintaining safe operations, coordinating with managers, and driving continuous improvements in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will coach and develop hourly staff, monitor KPIs, and ensure accurate inventory handling from receiving to shipping, while aligning with Lean and 6S practices. This position is based on site in Arizona.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in business administration or industrial management/engineering.
3–5 yrs. of experience in the logistics field or related industry.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
Knowledge of handheld RF equipment is a plus.
Forklift certification a plus: sit-down and stand-up.

Responsibilities

Ensures that processes run smoothly and workers are kept safe.
Provide managers and peers with information about quality, safety, delivery, cost, and morale.
Coaches and develops hourly associates, including training, coaching, and regular evaluations.
Oversee 1 to 25 hourly associates.
Set production schedules within strict demands and budgets.
Monitor KPI's to assess productivity and cost management.
Move inventory by scheduling transfers between warehouse areas.
Maintain inventory by receiving, storing, delivering, and counting items.
Lead by example and coordinate with management and other departments to resolve issues.
