Job summary

RCS Moving LLC is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Lorton, VA to lead all daily warehouse operations for residential and commercial moving services. You will manage inventory, materials, and fleet readiness, enforce safety standards, and ensure timely, accurate documentation and timesheets for staff.

Responsibilities include supervising warehouse staff, coordinating with operations and customer service, and maintaining compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of warehouse or operations management experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience managing residential storage, inventory, or materials.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily warehouse operations related to residential and commercial moving and storage.
• Maintain a clean, structured, and orderly warehouse environment at all times.
• Ensure storage areas, vaults, racks, containers, and materials are labeled and identified.
• Prepare warehouse, trucks, and equipment each morning to ensure dispatch on time.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for residential goods and storage items.
• Coordinate issuance, tracking, and replenishment of materials to crews.
• Direct maintenance of warehouse equipment and ensure safety compliance.
• Review and approve warehouse paperwork and ensure accurate timesheets.
