Job summary

Keefe’s A/C, Heating, Electrical, & Plumbing seeks an Assistant Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure inventory accuracy, and lead a skilled team in a fast-paced setting. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and reliable material flow to support field operations.

Responsibilities include receiving, cycle counts, staging, servicing company vehicles, and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a supervisor/assistant manager role.
• Experience in supply chain & inventory management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse employees to ensure efficient workflow, productivity, and timely completion of tasks.
• Assign daily work responsibilities and prioritize tasks based on operational needs, installations, deliveries, and material requirements.
• Coordinate the receiving, inspection, labeling, storage, and distribution of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Generator, and other materials and equipment.
• Ensure materials and equipment are properly staged and available for scheduled installations and field personnel.
• Monitor and coordinate the truck replenishment process to ensure company vehicles are properly stocked.
• Coordinate the material return process, ensuring materials are inspected and restocked or designated for disposition.
• Assist with the purchase order process by verifying materials received against purchase orders and reporting discrepancies.
• Conduct and supervise full physical counts and cycle counts of warehouse and vehicle inventory to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or discrepancies to management.
• Coordinate and monitor warranty returns process, ensuring proper documentation and vendor returns.
• Assist with vendor-managed inventory by monitoring stock levels and replenishment needs.
• Promote a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions and documentation within the inventory system.
• Communicate with purchasing, operations, vendors, drivers, and management regarding material needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, organization, and inventory accuracy.
