Job summary

Comfort Matters Heating Cooling & Plumbing is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials. You will help maintain accurate inventory records and ensure safe handling of goods in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills including inventory software and MS Office.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying the quantity and quality of items received.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers and manage shipping schedules.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Track and report inventory discrepancies, damage, or loss.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
• Complete and maintain accurate records of all warehouse transactions.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment, and other key metrics.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse team members, supervisors, and other departments.
