Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance, ensuring efficient, accurate, and safe processes across the full order flow.

You will develop policies and procedures, manage inventory with WMS/ERP, lead a team, monitor KPIs, and drive cost-saving improvements while upholding OSHA standards and delivering an enhanced customer experience.

Qualifications

• Prior experience supervising, training, or guiding team members and volunteers.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software to track inventory.
• Knowledge of cycle counts, barcode scanning, and shipping/receiving workflows.
• Clear verbal and written skills to give instructions and coordinate with management.
• Ability to fix shipping errors, workflow bottlenecks, or inventory mismatches quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to minimize errors in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work through workflow issues or employee conflicts.
• Experience with KPIs and performance tracking.
• Ability to create a safety program adhering to OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
• Develop and implement policies and procedures
• Maintain warehouse records and facilities
• Work with purchasing to establish supplier reporting
• Recommend warehouse efficiency improvements
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
• Improve customer experience
• Manage stock control and reconcile inventory with WMS/ERP
• Identify areas for process improvements
• Produce reports and statistics for management updates
• Participate in the annual department budget
• Identify cost-saving opportunities
• Recruit, select, orient, coach, and motivate employees
• Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives
• Create a safety program adhering to OSHA standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
