Job summary

IEM in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the day-to-day production in a defined work center, focusing on safety, takt time, and KPI-aligned output. This role manages multiple Team Leads and Operators, partnering with the Operations Manager to drive continuous improvement and maintain flow across the line.

100% in-office presence is required at our Jacksonville location; second shift is 3:00pm–11:30pm EST.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in operations management, industrial engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years in manufacturing with leadership experience.
• Experience with takt time, standard work and daily tier meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily execution of production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery and efficiency targets.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate Team Leads and Operators.
• Ensure adherence to daily build schedules and takt time; escalate risks.
• Monitor performance against KPIs and lead Tier 1 daily management meetings.
• Coordinate with Planning, Materials, Quality and Maintenance for readiness.
• Enforce safety, 5S, standard work and compliance with policies.
• Support onboarding, cross-training, and upskilling with Learning & Development.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality, delivery or safety issues.
