Job summary

Industrial Electric Mfg. (IEM) in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Director of Operations to lead Medium Voltage Switchgear, Integrated Products, and Small Panels manufacturing. You will own safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, capacity, and team development across product lines.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on operations leader with Lean expertise, capable of scaling high-mix environments, building leaders, and ensuring daily disciplined execution. 100% in-office work is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced education preferred.
15+ years of progressive manufacturing/ops experience, 5+ in senior roles.
Experience leading large-scale, high-mix, engineered-to-order operations.
Background in medium-voltage switchgear or related electrical manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

Set and execute operating strategy for MV switchgear, integrated products, and panels.
Align production, capacity, labor, scheduling, and materials with business goals.
Translate demand into practical labor and capacity plans.
Lead customer deliverables, recovery plans, and major initiatives.
Provide timely updates and risk assessments to executives.
Champion safety and Lean culture with disciplined execution.
