Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring an Operations Lead for our Columbus, OH location. The role oversees daily warehouse operations, drives productivity, and coordinates staffing to meet production targets. You will train and coach teams, ensure safety and quality, and report on production outcomes.

The position requires leadership and warehouse experience, strong communication, and the ability to work overtime as needed. Steel-toe footwear is required and payroll is hourly.

Qualifications

• This role requires at least three years of leadership experience.
• At least five years of warehouse experience are required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and wear steel-toe footwear.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to motivate and manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational software.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations.
• Monitor workflow, productivity, and quality.
• Assign work based on staffing and needs.
• Train, coach, and support team members.
• Assist with employee onboarding.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and process issues.
• Maintain production records and reports.
• Enforce policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Communicate updates to staff and management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Recommend process and productivity enhancements.
