Job summary

UNIS is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Summerville, SC to lead daily warehouse operations, drive performance, and ensure timely, accurate fulfillment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a track record in fast-paced warehouses, and the ability to coach teams toward operational excellence; some flexibility for varying shifts and overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced warehouse, fulfillment, manufacturing, or 3PL environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using WMS, productivity reporting tools, and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations across receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping to meet service commitments.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and performance metrics; adjust in real time to support throughput and accuracy.
• Coach, develop, and hold associates accountable to performance, attendance, safety, and standards.
• Conduct shift meetings, communicate priorities, and foster a positive, high-performing team environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, safety standards, and procedures.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and partner with leadership to enhance efficiency and performance.
