Job summary

UNIS is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Pooler, GA to lead warehouse operations, drive team performance, and ensure customer commitments are executed safely and efficiently. The role emphasizes balancing people leadership with day-to-day execution and continuous improvement.

The candidate will oversee receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping while coaching teams to achieve operational excellence and maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in warehouse/logistics with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced warehouse or 3PL environments.
• Proficient in WMS, productivity reporting, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations across receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping activities to ensure service commitments are met.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and operational performance metrics, making real-time adjustments to support throughput and accuracy goals.
• Coach, develop, and hold associates accountable to performance, attendance, safety, and operational standards.
• Conduct shift meetings, communicate priorities, and foster a positive, high-performing team environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and operational procedures.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and partner with leadership to enhance operational efficiency and team performance.
