Job summary

Tri-State Food Bank is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations in Evansville, IN. You will lead a team, ensure compliance with health and Feeding America standards, and coordinate storage, inventory, and USDA commodity deliveries.

The role requires forklift operation, supervisory experience, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. You will also assist with hiring, training, and maintaining safety and quality records for a busy, mission-driven facility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervisory or management experience
• Strong basic math skills required
• Proficiency in food safety and handling preferred
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Be able to operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Valid driver’s license; for-hire endorsement preferred
• Must be bondable and insurable

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse team, provide training and evaluations
• Coordinate storage, inventory, and delivery of USDA commodities
• Ensure compliance with health and Feeding America requirements
• Supervise receiving docks and ensure proper paperwork
• Maintain records: temperature logs, inspections, OSHA logs
• Manage salvage and repack per health codes
• Assist in interviewing and onboarding new hires
• Travel within service area and work outside regular hours for events
