NFI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor in Savannah, GA to oversee daily warehouse functions and direct personnel to hit production goals. The role emphasizes supervision, scheduling, and safety, with shifts from 7:00am–3:30pm or 4:00pm–12:30am.

The candidate should have 1–5 years of supervisory experience or a relevant degree, experience with Manhattan WMS, and strong skills in operations management and labor planning. On-site role with a focus on efficiency and safety.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field or 1–5 years supervisory experience.
• Experience supervising warehouse personnel and coordinating shifts.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan preferred).
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Knowledge of performance metrics and process improvement concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and implements shipping and receiving schedules to meet goals.
• Provides direct supervision to warehouse personnel based on skills and background.
• Supervises inbound and outbound shipments to ensure correctness and timeliness.
• Ensures equipment is utilized efficiently and coordinates maintenance.
• Reviews daily objectives and sets productivity requirements for shifts.
• Balances labor with management to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Drafts and submits the daily end-of-shift report.
• Makes recommendations on initiatives to improve operations.
• Conducts daily pre-shift meetings and communicates prior shift performance.
• Assists in developing programs to train and motivate personnel.
• Oversees onboarding for all new personnel and ensures follow-through.
• Maintains HR practices with direct reports and enforces policies.
• Works with Management/HR to resolve employee relations issues.
• Provides coaching, feedback, and recognition for skill development.
• Participates in employee development and talent selection.
• Delivers hourly performance reviews and maintains accurate timekeeping records.
• Stays current on information, tools, and systems; travels to other warehouses as needed.
• Attends department or company meetings as required.
