Job summary

NFI is seeking a Warehouse Operations Lead to coordinate and supervise daily warehouse activities under the direction of the Operations Supervisor. You will direct work assignments and work closely with shift leadership to meet service and cost objectives.

The role requires recent experience in fast-paced warehouses, familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems, and strong data entry and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with shift leadership to meet shift goals.
• Oversee and coordinate receiving, put away, picking, and loading of products.
• Direct work assignments to warehouse staff.
• Provide hands-on support in material handling and forklift tasks.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.
• Suggest process improvements to supervisor.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external partners.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse and inventory labeling.
• Train new and current employees on SOPs and workflows.
• Maintain warehouse security and proper storage.
• Assist in staging orders for delivery.
