Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Retail Distribution Center Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, oversee a team of distribution associates, and ensure accurate, on-time merchandise flow to stores. You will work with cross-functional teams to meet service levels and maintain inventory integrity in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and a commitment to safety, with a focus on process improvement and continuous development of staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associates or bachelors preferred in logistics, supply chain, or business.
• 3+ years in warehouse/distribution with at least 1 year in supervision or leadership.
• Experience with safety, processes, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations including inventory, customer service, and safety.
• Delegate tasks, manage workflow, and optimize staffing levels.
• Analyze reports and develop strategies to improve efficiency.
• Oversee scheduling and timekeeping to meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Interview and evaluate candidates for distribution roles.
• Provide ongoing training and development for staff.
• Foster a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
• Ensure safe working conditions and address safety concerns.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external carriers.
