Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Director of Retail Fulfillment Center Operations to lead multi-site fulfillment and distribution with a focus on operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and cost-effective scalability.

The role partners with cross-functional leaders to support growth, improve service levels, and implement innovative solutions across the fulfillment network. MBA or Lean Six Sigma preferred; extensive leadership in warehousing and distribution required.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have 10+ years of leadership in warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment center operations.
• 5+ years of multi-site distribution leadership and scale.
• Proven track record improving productivity, quality, and customer service.
• Experience with large teams in fast-paced distribution, logistics, retail, or e-commerce.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute fulfillment center strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead multi-site distribution and fulfillment operations for consistent performance.
• Establish KPIs to measure efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, inventory management, order processing, and shipping.
• Drive productivity through workflow optimization and labor planning.
• Ensure inventory accuracy via cycle counting and auditing.
