Job summary

MRC Global in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to control the receiving, stocking, and delivery functions, ensuring safe and timely product movement and collaboration with branch management.

The role requires supervising warehouse staff, maintaining OSHA compliance, managing inventory, and coordinating with sales to support on-time deliveries; a valid driver's license and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus related training in material distribution operations.
• Four years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
• Two years of supervisory experience or ability to supervise warehouse staff.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and ability to travel to branches/customers.
• Ability to read and interpret safety instructions and use computers/software.

Responsibilities

• Control receiving, stocking, and delivery functions for the branch.
• Adhere to safety policies and train warehouse personnel on safety measures.
• Maintain fleet and comply with DOT regulations and inspections.
• Oversee warehouse and pipe yard operations, including shipping/receiving and inventory checks.
• Coordinate warehouse/sales communication to ensure timely deliveries and accurate cycle counts.
