Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Four (4) years’ experience in a warehouse or related environment.
• Two (2) years supervisory experience or demonstrated capability to supervise.
• Ability to operate and become certified on forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic warehouse functions and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to branches and customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Travel to MRC Global warehouse locations to monitor inventory and verify policy compliance.
• Assess warehouse layout, personnel, inventory counts, and procedures.
• Recommend layout/equipment changes to the branch manager.
• Orient, train, and evaluate new and existing employees.
• Coach staff on safety operating practices and lead by example.
