Job summary

MRC Global US Inc is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to travel to company warehouses, provide direction, training, and support to personnel, and ensure adherence to corporate policies. The role emphasizes safety, inventory accuracy, and operational improvement.

The ideal candidate has warehouse supervision experience, forklift certification, and the ability to travel extensively to branches and customer sites within the United States.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Four (4) years’ experience in a warehouse or related environment.
Two (2) years supervisory experience or demonstrated capability to supervise.
Ability to operate and become certified on forklifts and material handling equipment.
Demonstrated knowledge of basic warehouse functions and procedures.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to branches and customer locations.

Responsibilities

Travel to MRC Global warehouse locations to monitor inventory and verify policy compliance.
Assess warehouse layout, personnel, inventory counts, and procedures.
Recommend layout/equipment changes to the branch manager.
Orient, train, and evaluate new and existing employees.
Coach staff on safety operating practices and lead by example.
