Job summary

3gistix in Dallas, TX is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the distribution center's receiving, stocking, and shipping processes with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

You will manage a team, uphold safety programs, and coordinate with purchasing, merchandising, sales, and finance to ensure timely merchandise flow and proper administrative transactions. PKMS/AS400 familiarity is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; Four-year college degree preferred.
• 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating procedures, and manuals; effective writing and speaking in English.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates the warehouse activities of the distribution center.
• Assigns workers to receive and stock inbound freight and pull customer orders for shipping.
• Administers safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy environment for employees.
• Coordinates with purchasing, merchandising, sales, and finance to ensure availability and proper handling of merchandise.
• Operates PKMS warehouse management system and prints reports to measure productivity.
• Directs reclamation of damaged merchandise and ensures inventory accuracy.
• Supervises personnel, interviews, hires, trains, and evaluates staff; maintains asset control and security.

Education
