Job summary

The Staff Pad is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for our Chicago, IL location. You will oversee daily warehouse operations, lead staff, manage inventory, and coordinate shipping and receiving for high-value client projects.

You will ensure safety and compliance, optimize space, and drive process improvements across operations while serving as the primary contact for clients and internal teams. 5+ years in warehousing with supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse experience with at least 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in inventory management, moving/storage, or art handling is preferred.
• Experience handling and packing fragile, high-value items.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff.
• Delegate tasks, conduct performance evaluations, and support team development.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, packing, and storage operations.
• Maintain warehouse organization and optimize space utilization.
• Ensure accurate inventory records and shipping documentation (logs, BOLs, workorders, etc.).
• Coordinate digital inventory systems and facility inspections.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and supply ordering.
• Lead safety, security, and compliance initiatives.
• Prepare shipping quotes and coordinate project logistics with internal teams.
