Job summary

MEI Rigging & Crating seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, staff management, dispatch of MEI and rental equipment, and ensure accurate documentation for maintenance and permits. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to company policies.

The candidate should have supervisory experience in a warehouse environment, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong communication with drivers, vendors, and customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ warehouse supervisory experience.
• Minimum two (2) years proven dispatching experience or comparable logistics coordination experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• HS diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shipping/receiving activities including inspection, storage, packaging and shipping of equipment.
• Schedule inbound/outbound loads and assign appointments accordingly.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure portal logs are complete and timely.
• Lead and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring safety and policy compliance.
• Develop efficient yard layouts to optimize space and operations.
• Oversee paperwork related to jobs, crew assignment, safety analyses, and equipment repairs.
• Monitor and adjust labor hours in the ADP timekeeping system.
• Maintain daily dispatch board and communicate with foremen and drivers.
