Job summary

MEI seeks a Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse and yard operations across locations, supervise Warehouse Leads or Supervisors, and ensure accuracy of inventory, orders and disbursements. You will drive safety, efficiency and cost controls, collaborate with accounting and sales, and travel locally to support regional facilities.

This hands-on role requires training staff on safety protocols, maintaining records, and planning inbound/outbound shipments to optimize service and regional

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience in warehousing or supply chain preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable.
• Proficiency with Windows-based systems and MS Office; ability to learn new software.
• Experience with industrial machinery and powered equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Warehouse Leads and Supervisors; approve timecards and requests for time off; coach staff.
• Ensure warehouse and grounds are clean, safe, and inspection-ready at all times.
• Learn and manage warehouse software; ensure inventory accuracy and proper dispatch/disbursement of items.
• Collaborate with regional locations and accounting/sales departments to meet customer requirements.
• Analyze logistics to identify cost-saving transportation or storage methods.
• Troubleshoot supply chain, warehousing, or logistical issues with staff.
• Maintain all records, logs, and required reports daily.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for correct cataloging and safety.
