Job summary

Wesco is hiring a full-time Operations Coordinator to support the local warehouse team with data analysis, coordination of shipments, and documentation. The role requires accuracy, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and collaboration with carriers and managers to meet customer commitments.

Eligible candidates will have 3+ years in order management in a warehouse setting, strong communication skills, and familiarity with warehouse and order management systems.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent required.
• 3+ years of order management experience in warehouse or production.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• 1 year of operational/administrative experience preferred.
• 1 year of customer service and inside sales experience preferred.
• 1 year of logistics and warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse and order management systems.
• Ability to change priorities quickly and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supports local operations with coordinated efforts for the location.
• Prepares reports and manages documentation; identifies bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with carriers and managers to align employees and workflow.
• Act as team lead on small projects when supervisor is away.
• Manage daily orders and tasks in warehouse management system; prioritize requests.
• Ensure must-ship-today orders meet shipping commitments domestically and internationally.
• Provide daily assistance for picking, packing, and shipping functions.
• Maintain inventory documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
