Job summary

Ferraro Foods is seeking an organized Operations Coordinator in Mebane, NC to balance hands-on warehouse duties with administrative and team coordination. You will help keep daily operations moving, manage receiving and shipping, and support inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2–3 years in warehouse operations, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, or a related field.
• Foodservice distribution, logistics, or high-volume warehouse experience a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; WMS preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, replenishment, and staging.
• Monitor daily workflow, productivity, accuracy, and operational performance.
• Schedule and confirm deliveries and pickups with vendors, customers, and transportation partners.
• Review out-of-stock items, investigate inventory discrepancies, and help resolve operational issues.
• Process and review warehouse paperwork, including bills of lading, receiving reports, worksheets, and other documentation.
• Prepare and distribute schedules, reports, labels, and routing information.
• Communicate daily priorities, shift updates, and operational issues across departments.
• Coordinate task assignments and help ensure warehouse team members complete daily responsibilities efficiently.
• Support the training and development of warehouse employees.
• Serve as a point of contact between warehouse staff and leadership to help address concerns and elevate issues as needed.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Help ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
• Maintain organized warehouse layouts to support efficient product storage and movement.
• Promote a clean, safe working environment and support compliance with company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Promptly report workplace accidents, incidents, and safety concerns to HR and the Safety Manager.
